As hypertourism has become an evergrowing problem for certain urban centers all around the world, the number of people that on a daily basis we exchange looks with and that we might never see again is increasing. Un giorno, forse, riconoscerò il tuo volto sees the author asking strangers to take a picture with him, in an attempt to slow down time and bring to life an otherwise improbable interaction.
These pictures - with the author elided from them - are then scattered throughout the exhibition space, rendering in some way possible for the spectators to inadvertedly meet themselves the subjects of the photographies. What the work tries to build are fragile relational bridges, igniting a mechanism of reciprocal recognition rooted in a trivial (yet unexpected) souvenir photo.

In order to respect the privacy of the people appearing in these photographs, their faces have been censored for online viewing of the work.
