Bio
Francesco Fochi is a visual artist, curator and researcher working between the province of Reggio Emilia, his birthplace, and Venezia, where he graduated with honours at Iuav University.
Since 2023, together with Alessandro Gagliardo and an everchanging group of people, he has been participating in Inannunciato, a research project on archival cinema and on the liberation of time, space, and making.
In 2024, together with Beatrice Buttari, Gian Paolo Gigante and Elsa Scagliarini, he co-founded cometamuta, a poetic-musical research collective.
In 2026, with Gabriele Bonzanini and Gloria Tomassucci, he co-founded rùere, an association dedicated to curating practices that dwell on the intersection between art and collective resistance.
